Alloy C263 Bars and Rods are primarily made up of nickel, cobalt, and chromium, with added molybdenum, titanium, and aluminum to enhance precipitation hardening. The typical composition features about 51% Ni, 20% Co, 20% Cr, 5–6% Mo, 2% Ti, and 0.6% Al. On the mechanical side, Alloy C263 boasts high tensile strength, excellent creep resistance, and impressive thermal stability up to around 900°C. It also offers outstanding oxidation resistance and dependable fatigue strength. The alloy can be solution-treated and age-hardened to achieve exceptional high-temperature mechanical properties while still being easy to form and weld.
