Stainless Steel 304H Bars and Rods have been developed with increased carbon content, generally ranging from 0.04% to 0.10%, and are stronger and hotter resistant than normal 304 grades. Chemical composition is 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel, which provide excellent corrosion-resistant and durability. Further elements like manganese (max 2%), phosphorus (max 0.045%), sulfur (max 0.03%), and silicon (max 0.75%) are all good seconds to its ideal properties. In mechanical terms, it represents a tensile strength of 515 Mpa, yield strength of 205 Mpa, and elongation of 40%. Carbon allows it to be specified for certain high-temperature applications while meeting excellent structural integrity.
