What is Titanium Grade 12 Bars/ Rods?

Titanium Grade 12 Bars are made from alloyed titanium, typically featuring 0.8–1.2% nickel, 0.3–0.5% molybdenum, and a trace amount of iron, with the rest being titanium. This unique blend offers outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in both oxidizing and reducing environments, as well as in seawater. In terms of mechanical properties, Grade 12 titanium boasts a tensile strength ranging from 550 to 750 MPa, a yield strength between 480 and 680 MPa, and an elongation of 20 to 25%, striking a balance between moderate strength and excellent ductility. The bars are easy to work with, can be heat-treated, and maintain stability even at high temperatures, making them ideal for critical and long-lasting applications.
